Can I use it with my smartphone?
Yes, you can use it with your smartphone with the 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable included in the box. Please note that if your smartphone does not have a 3.5mm input, then you can buy a USB C or lightning adapter separately as per your requirement.
Can I use a single transmitter if required without turning on the other one?
Yes, you can use a single transmitter if required without turning on the other one. Please note that you need to switch the recording mode to mono or else in stereo, you'll get the audio only from a right/left channel.
How can the audio be split. Can one mic be panned to left and other mic panned to right on seperate channel?
Yes, you can switch the recording mode to stereo. You can check out the steps to change the recording mode in the product manual.
Is the lavalier microphone omnidirectional or unidirectional?
The AM-W10 microphone has an omnidirectional pickup pattern.
Can I add a transmitter and use it together?
The transmitters and receiver are paired before leaving the factory and are set to auto-pair each time you turn them on. So you cannot add another transmitter and use it along with the same receiver.
Does the receiver have any memory of its own OR is this system purely a wireless microphone and therefore the receiver must be plugged into a device?
This is purely a wireless microphone set to be used as an input device. It does not have any memory of its own. For more details, please feel free to connect with us on the customer support line.
Can you connect the audio via the receiver usb-c port to a computer?
No, the USB C port is meant purely for power delivery and cannot be used to connect audio to another device. Audio can only be connected through the 3.5mm TRS or TRRS output.
Is there a delay from source to transmitter?
The delay is less than 20ms which is essentially imperceptible.
