A budget heavy duty LP mic arm (Low Profile)

I was looking to get the Rode PSA+ boom arm but ended up looking at Audio Array's AA-19 instead.I stated by youtubing about it, couldn't find any reviews for this product but discovered Elgato Wave LP mic arm.AA-19 is a cheaper and improved design of the much costlier and branded Elgato Wave LP.I am able to use my Shure SM7B with this mic arm, which is a rather heavy Microphone. Moving the microphone is pretty effortless, however low profile mic stands always feel a bit filmsy. The mic attachment to boom arm happens with a ball head joint, and I realized it wasn't possible to hold the mic parallel to the ground because the ball head wasn't able to support the weight of my mic. However that's just fine given how people typically use mics like SM7B. I was also able to add a small plastic film between ball head and holder, to generate enough friction enabling ball head to hold the. mic at any angle as well despite the weight.AA-19 has good cable routing which ensures cables aren't tangling, leading to smooth movement of the mic. It has a very sturdy build quality and is definitely a good buy for a proper mic like SM7B.This product needed minimum amount of assembly, and can be fixed to a table/grommet hole. A 6 inch riser is included that can be attached to the clamp, on which you put in a 14 inch piece that enables a horizontal movement of about 14 inches from the clamp, and another another 14 inch piece above it that can enable movement of upto 14 inches horizontally, as well as -25 degree downwards bend upto 75 degree upward bend. The maximum achievable height from the table is 27 inches, so this might not be a good choice for people looking to get their microphones up and high. That is the standard considering it's a low profile mic arm.The stand is compact and doesn't consume too much space. Other models like AA-18 and AA-17 are Rode PSA styled mic arms are buge, have a different form factor but can go higher up from the table as well as have more horizontal reach.Overall I am satisfied with AA-19 and there isn't an alternative for this model, available in the indian online market as of today. Audio Array launched this model end of Oct 2023, and I am pretty sure this model will sell good and price for this will be hiked from my purchase price of 3.4k.Would I recommend this? The kind of mic stand you should get definitely depends on the kind of desk setup you have. I would surely recommend you to get this low profile arm if you are looking to attach the mic arm to the side of the table/under a monitor, and don't need the mic to go above 27 inches from the desk and you sit within 27 inches of the mic clamp on the table.
